The selling broadened from the open. The Nasdaq 100 led, down more than 800 points, and the Dow held near unchanged as money rotated into the blue chips. That is the pattern the MarketMap™ has described: technology is now leading the decline that the broad market started on August 5 (ATH.) The downtrend is gaining speed. Our timing window for the next temporary low is the first part of November, so the job now is to keep the positions working through that window, take profits where targets are within reach, and roll the shorter-dated legs out so time stays on our side.
